CashPilotX ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the CashPilotX mobile application ("App").

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

• Name (optional)
• Email (used for local account creation)
• Profile picture (optional)
• Password (stored securely on device using Keychain/Keystore encryption)

Financial Information

• Expense and income records
• Categories and budgets
• Notes and descriptions
• Locally generated financial reports
• Bill reminders and payment schedules (title, type, amount, due dates, repeat frequency)
• Reminder notification preferences
• Payment history for recurring bills

Device Information

• Theme preference
• Currency settings
• Notification settings (including bill reminder preferences)
• Local notification identifiers (for scheduling bill reminders)
• Advertising ID (used by AdMob for ad serving)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for App functionality:

• Manage expenses, budgets, and financial records
• Generate financial summaries and reports
• Schedule and send local notifications for bill reminders
• Automatically create expense entries when bills are marked as paid (if enabled)
• Track recurring payment schedules
• Secure login using local authentication
• Provide personalization settings

We do not use your financial data for advertising, analytics, or tracking. AdMob may collect device-level information for ad serving purposes, but your financial data remains private and is never shared with AdMob.

3. Data Storage & Security

Local-Only Storage

All data (financial records, user profile, bill reminders) is stored only on your device using the Realm local database.

Data never leaves your device unless you export it manually.

Bill reminders and their associated notification schedules are stored locally and managed entirely on your device. Local notifications are scheduled using your device's notification system and do not require internet connectivity.

Security Measures

• Passwords secured using Keychain/Keystore
• Encryption applied to sensitive data
• Bill reminder data stored securely in local Realm database
• Local notifications scheduled securely on device
• Optional biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID / Fingerprint)

Data Retention

Your data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

You can delete all data at any time.

4. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

CashPilotX uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect certain information to serve relevant ads. This includes:

• Device identifiers (advertising ID)
• App usage data for ad performance
• General location data (country/region level)

AdMob's data collection and usage is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. CashPilotX requests non-personalized ads by default where possible.

Local Notifications

CashPilotX uses local notifications to remind you about upcoming bills and payments. These notifications are:

• Scheduled and stored entirely on your device
• Managed by your device's operating system
• Not transmitted to any external servers
• Subject to your device's notification permissions

You can control notification permissions in your device settings and manage reminder preferences within the App's Notification Settings.

Other Services

CashPilotX does not use:

• Analytics services
• Crash reporting services
• External databases or cloud storage

Your financial data and bill reminders are never shared with AdMob or any other third-party service.

We do not:

• Sell your financial data
• Share your financial data with third parties
• Send your financial data to any external server
• Use your financial data for marketing or advertising
• Share bill reminder information with third parties
• Transmit reminder data to external servers

Note: AdMob (Google's ad service) may collect device-level information for ad serving, but your financial transactions, expenses, income, bill reminders, and personal financial information are never shared with AdMob or any advertising network.

We may disclose data only if required by law.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Access your financial data
• Access and manage your bill reminders
• Export your data (CSV / PDF / JSON)
• Delete your account and all data (including all reminders)
• Delete individual bill reminders
• Update your profile information
• Manage notification preferences for reminders
• Disable biometric authentication

How to Exercise

Open Settings → Data & Backup in the App to manage your data and exercise your rights.

7. Children's Privacy

CashPilotX is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Updates will be published in:

• The Privacy Policy link inside the App
• The public Privacy Policy webpage

Continued use of the App means you accept the updated policy.
